These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Makook application and related services operating in Egypt. By creating an account, browsing the app, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions:
1. Use of the App
You may use Makook only for lawful purposes and personal, non-commercial use.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details and for all activities under your account.
2. Account Information
You agree to provide true, accurate, and up-to-date information, including your name, mobile number, email address, and delivery address.
If we suspect misuse or fraudulent activity, we may suspend or close your account.
3. Orders and Availability
Restaurants and kitchens are responsible for preparing your order. Acceptance of an order depends on their availability and capacity.
In rare cases, an order may be cancelled by the restaurant or by Makook if the items are unavailable, incorrectly priced, or cannot be delivered to your address.
In such cases, any payment captured for the cancelled items will be refunded according to our Refund Policy.
4. Prices and Payments
All prices shown in the app are set by the restaurant and may change without notice.
Delivery fees, service fees, and taxes are displayed before you confirm your order.
Online payments are processed securely by our payment partners. You agree not to use unauthorised or stolen cards.
5. Delivery
Estimated delivery times are for guidance only. Actual times may vary due to traffic, weather, order volume, and restaurant preparation time.
You must be available at the delivery address and reachable on your Egyptian mobile number during the delivery window.
6. Limitation of Liability
Makook acts as a platform connecting you with restaurants and couriers.
We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the app, except where required by Egyptian law.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
